About this mod
Complete graphic overhaul pack for Doom 3, RoE and Lost Mission mod. Included addons, no gameplay changes.

D3HDP is a graphical overhaul made by community and constantly updated with cumulative enhancements since 2022. It's meant to be an extension of default game assets and it doesn't include any code modifications to keep compatibility with default game, source engines and mobile ports. D3HDP includes new HD textures, fixed maps and improved lighting and effects, with few improvements from BFG Edition and other previous unofficial projects. It's 100 % vanilla friendly. Recommended for those who want a clean and correct visual experience for Doom 3 without gameplay changes. The pack has been created for the original Doom 3, Resurrection of Evil and The Lost Mission.
D3HDP improvements:
- Complete HD texture pack for Doom 3, Resurrection of Evil and The Lost Mission mod;
- Reworked and improved details for all levels, mapobjects, characters, monsters and weapons;
- Added omitted/unused micro details and effects from E3 Alpha Tech Demo 2002;
- Remastered enpro level with architecture from BFG Edition;
- Fixed several issues and visual mistakes in the maps;
- Imported the fixes for materials from Resurrection of Evil in the original campaign;
- HD hud elements, crosshair, hand and arrow cursors;
- Jack Campbell (D3 campaign) now wears marine armor from BFG Edition;
- Richard Meyers (TLM campaign) now wears labcoat from BFG Edition;
- Added shotgun sound from BFG Edition and actived original machinegun sound from game data;
- All the dead bodies stay on the place (optional for Doom 3, RoE and TLM);
- Bullet shells stay forever in the ground;
- Included E3 Alpha Pistol, Shotgun and Machinegun (optional for Doom 3, RoE and TLM);
- Added Phrozo Particles v2.0 (optional for Doom 3, RoE and TLM);
- Included Birdman as replacement for HellKnight (optional for Doom 3, RoE and TLM);
- Full self shadows on every model of the game;
- Added Alpha & BFG Marine Armors and Invisible Monsters add-ons (optional for Doom 3, RoE and TLM);
- Added new effects for impacts, liquids and glasses to the game;
- Restored firing lights effect for mancubus and plasma projectiles;
- Optimized assets and less space required;
- Fully tested on Doom 3 v1.3.1 and Dhewm3 source engine.
