In a media interaction on November 7, SML's lawyer, Cephas Boyuoh, revealed that they have submitted a detailed response to the President, challenging the OSP's report and the subsequent termination directive.
"We've provided a comprehensive rebuttal, backed by documentary evidence, to every paragraph of the OSP's report. We believe this will help the President and the Attorney General (AG) understand the true nature of our contract with the MoF/GRA and form an unbiased opinion," Boyuoh stated.
SML further emphasizes their transparency and compliance with all regulatory and technical requirements. They claim to have fully funded the project from their own resources and have engaged with various agencies, including the GRA, the National Petroleum Authority, and the Ghana Standards Authority.
